Executive Roofing Systems in Marlboro Township, NJ, is seeking a Service Technician to join our commercial roofing service department. You will work from a service truck handling leak detection, roof repairs, maintenance, and inspections for commercial buildings.

You’ll learn the technical skills to advance toward becoming a Service Foreman, with on-the-job training, manufacturer certifications, and potential for promotion within the company.

Qualifications

• Experience in construction, roofing, or a trade-related field preferred but not required.
• Comfortable working at heights and climbing ladders.
• Physically able to lift materials, bend, climb, and work in outdoor weather conditions.
• Strong work ethics and willingness to learn.
• Reliable, punctual, and team-oriented.
• Ability to follow direction while also taking initiative to get work done.
• Valid Driver's License
• Ability to pass a drug and background check

Responsibilities

• Assist the Service Foreman with daily service work orders including leak detection, roof repairs, maintenance, and inspections.
• Report to the shop each morning to be dispatched to scheduled service calls.
• Support the foreman with carrying materials, tools, and equipment to the roof and work areas.
• Assist in completing roof repairs and maintenance tasks as part of the service crew.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the service truck, tools, and equipment.
• Follow company safety procedures and jobsite safety requirements.
• Assist with jobsite setup, cleanup, and proper handling of materials and debris.
• Support documentation and communication with the office as needed for completed work orders

Position Overview

The Service Technician will work alongside a Service Foreman in a company service truck completing daily work orders. Work orders typically include leak detection, roof repairs, preventative maintenance, and roof inspections for commercial buildings.

This role supports the foreman in completing service work safely, efficiently, and with high quality standards while learning the technical skills required to advance in the roofing industry.
