Job Summary

A Service Technician performs routine service inspections or tests and completes standard maintenance jobs in a timely manner.

Duties/Responsibilities
  • Perform routine maintenance and other tasks in a fast-paced environment.
  • Must read, interpret, and transcribe data in order to maintain accurate records.
  • Maintain a clean, safe working environment.
  • Perform Multi Point Inspections.
  • Other duties as assigned.
Required Skills/Abilities
  • Understanding of automotive systems.
  • Ability to use the diagnostic equipment and tools including power tools.
  • Willingness to learn with hands-on training.
  • Ability to maintain a professional appearance.
  • Ability to provide friendly customer service.
Education and Experience
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • State Inspection license required.
  • Technician experience.
  • GM Certification is a plus.
Physical Requirements
  • May lift objects that weigh as much as 50 lbs.
  • Good hand-eye coordination.
  • Prolonged periods of standing.
  • Frequent reaching, bending, squatting, pulling and lifting.
