Job summary

Cash-Wa Distributing in Kansas is seeking a customer-focused technician to join our Beverage & Chemical team. You will support a territory that covers from Goodland to Topeka and Concordia to Wichita, training with an expert and sharing client knowledge to help grow the business.

Expected earnings are $48,000–$51,000 per year, with about 2–3 overnights per month depending on location. Strong mechanical and communication skills, valid driver's license, and high school diploma required.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and perform schedule installations, preventative maintenance and service according to CWD standards.
• Build relationships with existing customer accounts in order to grow sales.
• Provide additional technical support to District Sales and Regional managers as needed.
• Maintain quality maintenance schedule within the territory, logging all activities for quality assurance purposes.

This is an excellent opportunity for a new technician to have an expert who already knows the clients to help train you.

Our Beverage & Chemical Department supplies our customers with cleaning, sanitation, and beverage products and services. These products and services are offered because they provide our clients with consistent, high-quality results. We achieve this purpose through a highly motivated team, dedicated to unparalleled service, training and communication. This cannot be achieved without providing excellent service when needed.

Expected earnings for this position are $48,000-$51,000, depending on experience

This Kansas territory which currently has about 375 regular customers generally covers from Goodland to Topeka, and from Concordia to Wichita. Depending on location of the top candidate, you can expect to average 2-3 overnights per month.

Essential functions include:

• Coordinating and performing schedule installations, preventative maintenance and service according to CWD standards
• Build relationships with existing customer accounts in order to grow sales
• Provide additional technical support to District Sales and Regional managers as needed
• Maintain quality maintenance schedule within the territory, logging all activities for quality assurance purposes

Knowledge, Skills, and Ability:

• Need strong mechanical skills
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to interact with a wide array of personalities
• Be self-motivated and results oriented with the ability to manage multiple tasks in a professional and timely manner
• Ability to talk to customers about upgrade opportunities (soft sales)

Education & Experience:

• High school education or GED is required
• Driver's license with safe driving history is required

Physical Requirements:

• Must be able to sit for long periods at a time for travel to work locations
• Must able to lift up to 80 pounds on when performing maintenance or installations
• Must be able to perform a multitude of physical activities (stand/walk/bend/squat/stoop/kneel) on a regular basis when performing maintenance or installations.
