• Experience as an apartment turn technician or make-ready technician is highly desirable.

As a Service Technician, you will work at one of our beautiful communities, representing Mark-Taylor through delivering exceptional customer service while contributing to the upkeep of the physical asset and community grounds.

You're Excited About This Role Because You Will:

• Assist in completing make-ready units to Mark-Taylor standards and maintain an adequate supply of make-ready units for the community.
• Troubleshoot, diagnose, and correct minor air conditioning/heating failures, appliance repairs, electrical problems, plumbing issues, minor carpentry, and drywall repairs.
• Perform necessary repairs and preventative maintenance on vacant units as they become available.
• Perform daily pool care, ensuring proper chemical balance and safety.
• Complete minor roof repairs, re-key locks, and cut keys.
• Inspect the property for safety hazards, correct them, and inform the Manager of Facilities and Service.
• Share on-call duties with the Manager of Facilities and Service and team members; be available to respond to property needs in uniform/badge.
• Assist in monitoring inventory of parts and cleaning supplies.

• General knowledge in plumbing, electrical, pool maintenance, HVAC, carpentry, landscape maintenance, appliances, and OSHA standards.
• Knowledge of building systems.
• Service orientation.
• Basic computer skills.
• Experience as an apartment turn technician, make-ready technician, or work order technician (highly desirable).
• Basic written and verbal English skills.

The starting hourly pay for Service Technicians is $22.00, depending on experience and community complexity. The schedule may include weekends, and team members participate in a rotating on-call schedule with additional pay.
