Job summary

ADT is seeking a Residential Service Technician in San Diego to troubleshoot and service security systems, advise customers, and communicate with the customer care center about system status and inspections.

Responsibilities include locating damaged equipment, readjusting or replacing components, reading blueprints, preparing trouble order forms, and coordinating inspections with police, fire departments, or other agencies.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED.
• Nicet Level 3 Certification preferred.
• Minimum 8 years experience installing and inspecting/repairing ADT or comparable product.

Position Summary

The Residential Service Technician is a troubleshooter and service expert who is responsible for alleviating concerns the customer may have regarding a security system. The Residential Service Technician advises customers and the customer care center of the status of systems and processes inspections.

Education/Certification

Pay And Benefits Disclosure

The pay range for this role is $24.71-$45.89 an hour and is based on experience and qualifications. Employees accrue up to 120 hours in their first year. Your accrual rate increases after your first year. We also offer 6 paid holidays.
