Job summary

Lucid Motors USA, Inc. is hiring an Automotive Service Technician in Torrance, CA to diagnose and repair EV/HEV systems, with emphasis on high voltage safety and accurate documentation.

You will work with a mobile service team and in-house advisors to resolve complex vehicle issues. The role requires 2–5 years of EV/HEV repair experience, EPA 609 certification, strong communication skills, and a valid driver’s license; CPR training will be provided after hire.

Qualifications

• 2–5 years of experience in EV/HEV diagnosis and repair.
• Knowledge of High Voltage and Low Voltage systems.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Repair basic and major mechanical issues and perform electrical diagnosis.
• Maintain knowledge of HV/LV and EV powertrains.
• Follow repair order documentation procedures and document all vehicle interactions.
• Communicate and collaborate with service team and customers.
• Demonstrate and teach learned technical skills to others.
• Ensure attention to detail and positive client experiences.

Responsibilities

• Confidently repair basic and major mechanical issues and perform basic electrical and mechanical diagnosis
• Maintain a high knowledge level of High Voltage (HV), Low Voltage (LV), andgeneral electricvehicle systems
• Follow correct repair order documentation procedures, i.e. The Three C's
• Effectively work with theappropriate softwaresuite toproperly and completely document all customer vehicle interactions
• Effectively communicate and collaborate with other members of the service team (i.e., advisor, manager, etc.) as well as customers.
• Ability todemonstrateand teach learned technical skills/knowledge with others
• Demonstrate attention to detail and passion for creating positive client experiences
• Ability to work remote and support mobile service team as needed
• Other duties as assigned

Qualifications

• 2-5 years of experience as an automotive service technician, includingpreviousexperience with EV/HEV diagnosis and repair
• Knowledge of High Voltage systems, Low Voltage systems, and Electric Vehicle powertrains
• Customer facing experienceexhibitingexcellent written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to use applications such as Microsoft Office as well as learn proprietary DMS software
• EPA 609 Certification
• Willingness to complete Lucid provided CPR training post hire
• Valid driver’s license with no suspensions within the past year. Drivers under 21 must havemaintaineda Driver’s License for a minimum of 3 years and successfully complete Lucid Training upon hire

Preferred Qualifications

• ASE Certifications (A4, A5, A6, A7, A8, L3, L4 - ADAS)
• Experience in luxury automobile repair environments

Compensation Range

The compensation range for this position is specific to the locations listed below and is the range Lucid reasonably and in good faith expects to pay for the position taking into account the wide variety of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions, including job-related knowledge; skillset; experience, education and training; certifications; and other relevant business and organizational factors.

Base Pay Range (hourly)

$31 — $43 USD

Compensation & Benefits

Lucid offers a comprehensive and competitive benefits package including medical, dental, and vision insurance; life and disability coverage; paid time off; paid holidays, paid sick leave; and a401(k) retirementplan. Hourly/non-exempt employees accrue up to 120 hours paid time off, and salaried/exempt employee accrue up to 160 hours paid time off. Eligible employees may also participate in Lucid’s equity program and/or a discretionary annual cash incentive program. Incentive and equity awards, if applicable, are determined based on individual performance, role scope, market considerations, and overall company results, in accordance with the terms of the applicable plans.
