Job summary

Aerotek is seeking a motivated Service Technician to join our field service team in McLean, VA. You will install, troubleshoot, repair, and maintain beverage dispensing and refrigeration equipment within the assigned territory and interact with customers to ensure high service standards.

A company vehicle, tools, uniforms, gas card, cell phone, and tablet are provided, with a comprehensive benefits program and weekly pay.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of experience as a Service Technician, Maintenance Technician, or similar field service role.
• Strong mechanical troubleshooting and repair experience.
• Working knowledge of electrical systems, motors, controls, and basic refrigeration principles.
• Experience using hand tools, power tools, and testing equipment.
• Ability to read technical manuals, wiring diagrams, and blueprints.
• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Excellent customer service and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Respond to dispatched service calls and maintain scheduled service appointments.
• Diagnose, troubleshoot, repair, and perform preventative maintenance on beverage dispensing and refrigeration equipment.
• Install and commission new equipment at customer locations.
• Inspect equipment performance and ensure products meet quality standards.
• Replace syrup flavors, clean equipment, and maintain proper machine operation.
• Maintain inventory of service parts, tools, and supplies.
• Document all service activities, repairs, and parts usage using company systems.
• Communicate professionally with customers regarding equipment status and service recommendations.
• Identify customer concerns and relay opportunities for additional products or services.
• Assist with warehouse duties, including shipping, receiving, organizing inventory, and equipment preparation.
• Follow all company safety procedures and service standards.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.

Pay: 24.00/hour + Company Vehicle

Job Summary

Required Qualifications

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience servicing beverage, refrigeration, food service, vending, or dispensing equipment.
• Strong organizational and time-management skills.
• Basic computer and mobile device proficiency for service documentation.

Physical Requirements

• Ability to lift up to 75 pounds.
• Frequent bending, kneeling, reaching, and climbing.
• Ability to work indoors and outdoors in varying weather conditions.
• Ability to safely operate a company vehicle throughout the service territory.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of McLean, VA.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $22.00 - $25.00/hr.
