Job summary

Power Design is seeking a Service Technician to install and repair wiring, fixtures, and equipment, ensuring field teams are ready for success across designated regions.

You will diagnose issues, uphold NEC and local codes, travel as required, and provide strong customer service while working as an electrician on job sites. OSHA 30 preferred; Journeyman or Master license required.

Qualifications

• Minimum five years electrical service experience; ten years preferred.
• Active Journeyman or Master electrical license.
• OSHA 30 certification preferred.
• Proficient knowledge of NEC and local codes.
• Willingness to travel as required.
• Experience with Microsoft Office preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventive and corrective maintenance as required and diagnose and resolve issues.
• Ensure work adheres to contract scope, specifications, safety, and company policies.
• Provide superior customer service to develop and grow customer relationships.
• Provide weekly status updates on warranty calls, small projects, service work, tickets, labor, and materials.
• Work as an electrician on designated job sites when not answering service calls or performing maintenance.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

About The Position

The Service Technician plays a pivotal role in bringing our designs to life within our specified regions by installing and repairing wiring, fixtures, and equipment as needed to ensure our Field teams are always set up for success.

Position Responsibilities

• Perform preventative and corrective maintenance when required, as well as diagnose and resolve any issues as needed
• Ensure that all work adheres to contract scope and specifications, job site safety and security, and Power Design’s values, policies, and procedures
• Provide superior customer service to develop and grow customer relationships
• Provide weekly status updates on warranty calls, small projects, service work, service tickets, labor requirements, and material requirements
• Work as an electrician on a designated jobsite when not answering service calls or performing maintenance
• Perform other duties as assigned

Here’s What We’re Looking For

• OSHA 30 certification preferred
• Skilled electrician with at least five years of electrical service experience required, and ten years of related experience preferred
• Active Journeyman or Masters electrical license required
• Proficient knowledge of the National Electrical Code (NEC), local codes, and construction safety requirements
• Experience in Microsoft Office suite, (Excel, Word, and Outlook) preferred
• Self-motivated individual with the ability to work independently
• Ability to travel as required
