Job summary

The ICEE Company is seeking Service Technicians to maintain and repair ICEE equipment and related beverage systems across the U.S. You will service frozen and non-carbonated dispensers, fountain equipment, ice makers, and juice dispensers with minimal supervision.

Employees receive a company vehicle, uniforms, tools, cell phone, tablet, and a gas card, with ongoing training and career development opportunities through ICEE Academy in La Vergne, TN.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Strong mechanical background and ability to troubleshoot.
• Graduate of technical/vocational school preferred.
• Must possess and maintain valid REAL ID Driver’s License.
• Willing and able to drive more than 40% of the time.

Responsibilities

• Service ICEE and restaurant equipment including frozen beverage dispensers and related systems.
• Attend weekly meetings at the Service Center and work with minimal supervision.
• Respond to dispatched service calls promptly and estimate ETA.
• Perform preventive maintenance, diagnose problems, and complete repairs.
• Maintain inventory of parts, tools, and company vehicle.
• Document work and close out activities; inform supervisor of issues and upsell opportunities.
• Communicate clearly with customers and coworkers.
• Perform general warehouse duties including cleaning, organizing, rotating product, shipping and receiving.

POSITION SUMMARY:

Under the supervision of theoperations leadership,ServiceTechnicians will be held to a high standard of service.ICEE has a commitment to success: toour customers, partners, andteam members.ServiceTechnicians are required to service all ICEE and restaurant equipmentincludingFrozen Carbonated and Non-Carbonated dispensers, fountain beverage equipment, ice makers, juice dispensers, etc.ServiceTechnicians will work with minimal supervisionand are required to attend weekly meetings held in their Service Center.Team membersin this role are provided with a vehicle,uniforms, tools, cell phone, tablet,and gascard.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

• Trained and certified in preventive maintenanceand installations.

• Training and service competency meeting Grade Level 1 standards

• Receives dispatched service calls as assigned and ensures a prompt response based on estimated time of arrival (ETA).

• Performs preventative maintenance, troubleshoots or diagnoses service problems, and completes repairs as needed. Checks quality of all products i.e.: checking syrup levels, changing out flavors, cleaning around machines, etc.

• Maintains inventory and maintenanceonequipmentsuchas:parts, tools, and the company vehicle.

• Reviews service orders and service performed withthe respectivesupervisor.Keeps his/her supervisorinformed of customer concerns, needs, and up-selling opportunities.

• Documentsall work performed andclosesout all activities upon completion.

• Clearlycommunicates withboth customers and co-workers.

• Performs assignedgeneral warehouse duties including but not limited to cleaning, organizing, rotatingproduct, shipping and receiving of equipment, parts,and product.

• Performs other duties as assigned by the Supervisor.

COMPETENCIES:

To perform this job successfully, theService Technicianmust be self-motivated andhave the ability tostay on task with minimal to no supervision. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill and/or ability required.

• Must be able to successfully maintain customer relations, interpersonal relationships, team relations,and service.

• Strong mechanical aptitude.

• Excellent organization and time management skills.

• Must be a self-starter and be able to accomplish tasks in a timely manner.

• Great oral and written communication skills. Must be comfortable performing basic mathematical functions as well.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:

• High School Diploma or equivalent.

• Strong mechanical background.

• Graduate of Technical or Vocational school, preferred.

• Must possess and maintain a validREAL IDDriver’sLicense.

• Willing and able to drive more than 40% of the time.

• Must haveand wearsteel-toed shoes.

_ Pay from: $22/hour - Pay is commensurate with experience, education, skills, training, and certifications. _

ICEE Academy- The ICEE Academy Training program provides essential technical training in equipment, service, and repair, typically held at the ICEE Academy in La Vergne, TN, or other designated locations. Training generally lasts two weeks, with possible weekend sessions. Attendance and eligibility are determined based on role, performance metrics, and certifications. Successful completion is required for continued employment, and failure to meet training standards may result in reassignment or termination. Regular hourly wages and applicable overtime are paid during training.You are responsible to have a valid Real-ID for travel purposes.Details of this requirement will be discussed during the hiring process.
