Sun State Power LLC is seeking a skilled Electrical Service Technician to join our growing team. This role is ideal for an experienced electrician who excels at troubleshooting, diagnosing, and repairing electrical systems while delivering exceptional customer service on service calls.

You will work independently, identify issues, provide effective solutions, and ensure all work complies with NEC and safety standards across residential, commercial, and light industrial settings.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of electrical service experience preferred.
• Strong troubleshooting and diagnostic skills.
• Knowledge of NEC requirements and electrical safety practices.
• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.
• Ability to lift 50 pounds and work from ladders, lifts, and various jobsite conditions.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and troubleshoot electrical issues in residential, commercial, and light industrial environments.
• Perform service calls, repairs, maintenance, and electrical upgrades.
• Install, repair, and maintain electrical panels, breakers, lighting systems, receptacles, and branch circuits.
• Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and electrical drawings.
• Test electrical systems and components to identify root causes of failures.
• Communicate professionally with customers regarding findings, recommendations, and repair options.
• Complete service reports, material lists, and documentation accurately.
• Ensure all work complies with NEC and company safety standards.
• Maintain company vehicle, tools, and equipment in a clean and professional manner.
• Participate in emergency and after-hours service calls as needed.
• Identify additional repair and upgrade opportunities for customers.
