Job summary

Prevost is seeking an Experienced Bus/Diesel Service Technician to join our team in the Town of Florida, NY. If you have automotive or diesel experience, are comfortable with Volvo engine work, and want to move from flat rate to hourly pay with strong benefits, this is the place for you.

Qualifications

• High school degree or equivalent (PREFERRED).
• Alignment Experience (PREFERRED).
• Electrical diagnosis, Engine Diagnosis, and A/C diagnosis w/609 certification (PREFERRED).
• 1 year vocational (preferred).
• 4 years of on-the-job automotive or diesel mechanical experience (REQUIRED).
• Valid Driver’s License (REQUIRED).
• Basic mechanical tools and toolbox (REQUIRED).
• Lifting heavy objects 50+ pounds and more.
• Standing for long periods of time.

Experienced Bus/Diesel Service Technician

If you are currently working as a Car, Truck, or Bus Technician (mechanical); Volvo engine preferred and would like a change from flat rate to an hourly rate with great benefits, this place is for you! Come work with Prevost and get paid while you continue to develop your mechanical skills.

Diesel Service Technician Description

For this position, the base pay is set at $25.00 - $35.00/ hour, and where applicable, bonus eligible.
