Job summary

Camping World is seeking a Service Technician (Flat–Rate) to diagnose and repair RV coach systems, generators, and coach body components. You will handle electrical, plumbing, HVAC, and mechanical maintenance, with a focus on accuracy and safety.

Training toward RV-specific certifications will be provided or funded by the employer. The role requires strong diagnostic and repair skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently in a fast-paced team environment.

Qualifications

• Certification from college/technical school in a trade field is helpful.
• Minimum of 1 year service technician experience or related field preferred.
• RVIA certification is helpful but not required.
• Must furnish own hand/shop tools.
• Must be able to lift up to 25 lbs and/or move up to 50 lbs with assistive devices.
• Valid driver’s license preferred.

• Provide and document complete diagnostic test and repair or replacement services to customers.
• Perform electrical, plumbing, carpentry, and appliance maintenance.
• Track all parts and materials used in repairs or replacements.

Service Technician (Flat‑Rate)

Camping World is seeking a Service Technician (Flat–Rate) for our growing team. We are ideally looking for someone with advanced diagnostic and repair skills for Recreational Vehicle (RV) coach systems, generators, and coach body repairs. Someone who is passionate about fixing mechanical, plumbing, HVAC, electrical, and maintenance problems would be ideal. A successful RV Technician will have strong attention to detail, be self‑motivated and well‑versed in all maintenance and repairs. Camping World will pay to certify individuals not already certified. If you have experience in any or all of these following fields, we want to talk to you: plumbing, carpentry, HVAC, electrical, mechanical, RV service.

• Must be able to lift up to 25 lbs and/or move up to 50 lbs with assistive devices.
• Valid driver’s license preferred.

Compensation

The pay range for this role considers several factors in making compensation decisions including but not limited to skill sets; experience and training; licensure and certifications; and other business and organizational needs. A reasonable estimate of the current range is $22.00 – $53.48 hourly.
