Job summary

Morgan Properties’ Summit Pointe Apartments in Scranton, PA is seeking a skilled Service Technician to diagnose and repair HVAC, electrical, plumbing, appliances, carpentry, drywall, and painting. You will respond to work orders, participate in a 24-hour on-call rotation, and perform make-ready tasks to prepare vacant units for residents.

You’ll help maintain grounds and common areas, ensure safety and comfort, and contribute to preventative maintenance.

Qualifications

• Hands-on skills in HVAC, electrical, plumbing, appliance repair, carpentry, drywall and painting.
• Ability to complete work orders within 24 hours of request.
• Willingness to participate in the 24-hour on-call rotation.
• Make-ready work on vacant units including repairs, cleaning and trash removal.
• Preventative maintenance tasks, including safety devices.
• Valid driver’s license required.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventative maintenance and install/maintain smoke detectors and extinguishers.
• Maintain grounds and common areas, including snow removal and salting when needed.

Fix it. Fine-tune it. Make it home. Summit Pointe Apartments is a 212-unit community in Scranton, PA and we’re looking for a skilled Service Technician to keep it running smoothly. You’ll diagnose and repair everything from HVAC to plumbing to appliances, helping make sure our residents love where they live.

Compensation And Benefits

• $18.00 – $22.00 per hour, based on experience
• $300 Morgan Essentials stipend, paid quarterly
• Overtime available as needed

If you are hired at Morgan Properties, your overall compensation package will also be determined based on factors such as geographic location, skills, education, and/or experience which may result in total compensation outside of this range.

What We Need From You

• Hands‑on skills in HVAC, electrical, plumbing, appliance repair, carpentry, drywall, and painting
• Ability to complete work orders within 24 hours of the request

• Upkeep of grounds and common areas, plus snow removal and salting when winter weather hits
• Valid driver’s license
