The Field Service Technician will be based in the Columbia, South Carolina area and will be responsible for on-site client installation, repairs, and maintenance of HVAC, Refrigeration, and cooking equipment.

Responsibilities:

1. Equipment Repair and Maintenance: Diagnose, repair, and maintain commercial kitchen equipment such as ovens, walk-in coolers/freezers, dish machines, fryers, mixers, tilt skillets, and HVAC systems.
2. Customer Support: Oversee network services, perform equipment and circuit tests, troubleshoot issues, and resolve client requests promptly. Maintain customer relationships and adhere to company guidelines.
3. Troubleshooting: Identify and resolve mechanical, electrical, and gas-related issues in commercial kitchen equipment.

Requirements:

• High school diploma or GED required; bachelor’s degree or relevant certification preferred.
• 2-5 years of experience in repairing and maintaining commercial kitchen equipment.
• Strong relationship-building and communication skills.
• Effective workflow management skills.
• Ability to lift up to 55 pounds.
• Mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills.
• Relevant certifications such as EPA 608, CFESA (in gas, electrical, steam, refrigeration).
• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
• Ability to pass background and drug screening.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and safety standards knowledge.
