Job description

Aerotek is currently seeking for a skilled truck fabricators to build commercial trucks for the service and commercial industries.

The truck builders will be welding and installing components on specialized trucks at a modern facility in Salt Lake City.

The truck builder will be working on sweeper trucks, custom work trucks, hydro trucks, storm cleaning trucks, etc. The welder-fabricator will build, fit and weld components onto trucks including utility bodies, van bodies, platform bodies, dump bodies, cranes, compressors, lift gates, snowplows, salt spreaders, ladder racks, tool boxes, trailer hitches, etc.

Qualifications:

· At least one year of experience in the commercial truck/truck equipment industry.

· Knowledge of welding, hydraulic, pneumatic, and electrical systems

· Ability to read and follow blueprints, schematics, and work instructions.

· Proficiency in using hand tools, power tools and other specialized equipment.

· Must have own mechanic tools such as wrenches, sockets, drills, impacts, and grinders.

· Valid driver’s license and insurable driving record.

· Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

· Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. and work in various weather conditions.

· Attention to detail, quality, and safety.

· High School diploma

Shift: Dayshift, Mon-Fri, 7am-4:30pm

Pay: Full benefits and $30-35 /hour DOE. Direct Hire.

All candidates will be required to submit to a pre-employment drug screen and back ground check.

This is not field work and not a contract job, but a full time and Direct Placement job.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $52000.00 - $72800.00/yr.
