Role overview
Work in a busy Service Department performing maintenance and repairs on agricultural machinery. This work is typically done at customers’ farms, requiring significant local travel around the area.
Responsibilities
- Perform routine maintenance, diagnostics, and repairs in the field and at the depot workshop.
- Complete all required reports and administration for work assignments on time.
- Perform pre-delivery set-up on new or used equipment.
- Assist service specialists when required.
Qualifications
- Professional manner and positive promotion of Ripon Farm Services.
- Advise customers on optimisation techniques for their machines, products, and services.
- Understand manufacturers’ customer care process.
- Successfully complete mandatory training to support product knowledge and to maintain and develop skills.
- Compliance with Health and Safety legislation, company policies, and procedures.
- Valid driving licence to drive company vehicles and agricultural equipment.
- Knowledge of agricultural equipment is preferred; full training will be provided if necessary.
Hours of Work
Monday to Friday (8am – 5pm) with flexible overtime to suit business demands, including evenings and weekends during seasonal periods.
