Qualifications

• Knowledge of grounds care, turf, or agricultural equipment would be preferred.
• A full, valid driving licence is required to drive to customers' sites and company vehicles.

Responsibilities

• Perform diagnostics, service, repairs and maintenance on horticultural equipment.
• Perform pre-delivery set-up on new or used equipment.
• Complete administration tasks (including time sheets and job cards).
• Maintain a clean workstation at all times.
• Adhere to all safety regulations and company procedures.

Ripon Group, one of the largest John Deere dealers in the UK, is expanding its Professional Turf division to support continued growth across a wider service area covering Burnley, Leeds, Bradford, Halifax, Huddersfield, Barnsley, Doncaster, Rotherham and Sheffield.

To support this expansion, we are seeking experienced and motivated Turf / Ground Care Technicians to join our professional service team. We are looking for both mobile and depot based Technicians to deliver high‑quality diagnostics, servicing, repairs and maintenance on a wide range of commercial turf and horticultural machinery.

General Duties

• Perform diagnostics, service, repairs and maintenance on horticultural equipment.
• Perform pre‑delivery set‑up on new or used equipment.
• Complete administration tasks (including time sheets and job cards).
• Maintain a clean workstation at all times.
• Adhere to all safety regulations and company procedures.
• Participate in training programs to enhance skills and technical knowledge.

Hours of work

Monday to Friday (8 am to 5 pm). Must be flexible to support overtime to suit the business demands; this will be seasonally, evenings and weekends.
