Smart Care Equipment Solutions in Portland, OR is hiring a Commercial Kitchen Service Technician to diagnose and repair commercial kitchen equipment across cooking, refrigeration, and dishwashing systems. You will troubleshoot electrical and mechanical systems and work directly with restaurants and hotels, following safety protocols.

The role requires 1+ year of commercial appliance repair or HVAC/refrigeration experience, a valid driver's license, and on-call availability.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 1+ year experience in commercial appliance repair (Hot side a +).
• HVAC or refrigeration experience.
• Military technical service considered a plus.
• Valid driver's license with clean record.
• Able to work on-call (nights/weekends) and travel occasionally.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and repair commercial kitchen equipment including cooking equipment (grills, fryers, ovens).
• Repair refrigeration systems (coolers, freezers).
• Service dishwashing and specialty foodservice systems.
• Troubleshoot electrical and mechanical systems.
• Work directly with restaurants, hotels, and commercial kitchens.
• Use service documentation and maintain accurate inventory.
• Follow safety protocols and promote service offerings.
