Job summary

Allegion is seeking a Service Technician for Stanley Access Technologies in Greater Phoenix/Mesa, AZ. You will service and repair automatic door operating equipment and related electro/mechanical systems, following safety and quality standards.

This full-time on-site role requires a HS Diploma, clean driving record, ability to lift up to 75 lbs, and willingness to work nights, weekends, or on-call as needed.

• HS Diploma or Equivalent is required.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills.
• Ability to work independently.
• Clean Driving Record & Valid Driver's License.
• Frequently going up and down ladders; able to lift up to 75 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Perform service and repair work on Stanley Automatic Door Operating Equipment.
• Record productive time and parts used.
• Perform preventive maintenance per service program.
• Maintain vehicles and inventory; keep records.
• Assist and instruct others in install/service methods.
• Stay updated on changes to Stanley equipment and ANSI 156.10 standards.

The company does not intend to provide sponsorship for employment visa status (e.g., H-1B, TN, etc.) for this employment position.What You Will Do:Perform service and repair work as designated in profitable and proper manner. Record productive time versus travel time.Perform preventive maintenance work in accordance with service program designated for specific customer.Maintain accurately all work records and parts used at each job in accordance with established procedure.Keep updated on all changes/modifications to Stanley equipment and Ansi156.10 standard as notified through published communications.Keep manuals and all details up to date as changes are advised.Maintain company vehicles, tools, and other property in proper manner.Maintain adequate parts inventory for service vehicle; keep inventory log.Maintain good customer relations and customer service.Assist and instruct others in install / service methods.What You Need To Succeed:HS Diploma or Equivalent is required.Excellent oral and written communication skills.Ability to work independently.Clean Driving Record & Valid Driver's License.Frequently going up and down ladders.Standing on Concrete several hours a dayAbility to stoop, bend, crouch, kneel or crawl, twisting spine.Ability to work in various climates.Ability to work overhead.Ability to lift and/or carry weight up to 50-75lbs.Flexible work schedule is a must: ability to work nights and/or weekends, or On Call as necessary.Additional Preferred Skills & Knowledge:Prior experience servicing automated doorsPrior experience in the Construction Field installing door frames and windows or as a Glazier installing glass window and glass doorsPrior experience in the Electrical, Automotive, or Carpentry fieldsWhy Work for Us?Allegion is a Great Place to Grow your Career if:You're seeking a rewarding opportunity that allows you to truly help others.
