Job summary

Rose Valley Management is seeking a Service Technician in Philadelphia, PA to perform preventative and routine maintenance across the property grounds and in resident units, delivering hospitality-driven living experiences.

You will handle repairs across plumbing, electrical, HVAC, carpentry, and appliances; participate in on-call rotations; and contribute to curb appeal and resident satisfaction.

Qualifications

• Basic knowledge of plumbing, electrical, HVAC, carpentry, appliance, drywall, painting, and snow removal.
• Customer service first attitude.
• Must have reliable transportation for on-call emergencies.
• Experience working in maintenance in an apartment community
• On call REQUIRED

Responsibilities

• Responsible for common area and apartment repairs (routine and preventative) in the scope of plumbing, HVAC, electrical, carpentry, wall repairs, painting, plumbing and appliances.
• Further oversight of the building’s curb appeal though building exterior inspections, cleaning, and grounds maintenance is required.
• Customer service and attention to detail are critical skills to ensure the satisfaction of the community’s residents.
• Responsible for daily cleaning
• Special projects as assigned
• Apply preventative measures to the building to reduce the risk of future problems
• Fix potential safety hazards to avoid injuries
• Able to attend team meetings, workshops and training sessions as required.
• Will be required to be in an on-call rotation with other employees for emergency work orders.

JOB SUMMARY:

A Rose Valley Management Service Technician is an essential team member who is responsible for providing excellent customer service while performing preventative and routine maintenance throughout the property grounds and in resident units. In this role you’ll help deliver high-quality, hospitality-driven living experiences to our community located in Philadelphia, PA.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITES:

• Responsible for common area and apartment repairs (routine and preventative) in the scope of plumbing, HVAC, electrical, carpentry, wall repairs, painting, plumbing and appliances.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS:

Additionally, prior experience working in maintenance at an apartment community is a must and strong written, verbal and computer skills are preferred. Salary Range: $23 - $25/hr plus commission
