Karl Malone Ford in Utah is seeking a full-time Experienced Service Technician to join our Ford Certified shop. You will repair and service vehicles, ensuring quality results for our customers and supporting timely delivery of vehicles.

Responsibilities

• Perform repairs per repair order with efficiency and accuracy, covering engine, transmission, electrical, steering, brakes, air conditioning, and related systems.
• Test vehicle components and systems using diagnostic tools and test drives.
• Communicate status and needs to Service Advisor; provide time estimates for additional repairs.
• Maintain accurate records of maintenance and repair work.
• Execute repairs under manufacturer specifications and keep work area safe and organized.

Responsibilities

• Perform duties per repair order with efficiency and accuracy. This may include but is not limited to the repair of vehicle automotive systems including engine, transmission, electrical steering, suspension, brakes, air conditioning, etc.
• Test a vehicle’s components, and systems using necessary test drives, diagnostic tools, and special service equipment.
• Communicate directly with the Service Advisor regarding the vehicle’s status and any additional needs. If additional repairs are needed, provide an estimate of the time needed for those repairs.
• Complete all tasks assigned in a timely manner and maintain accurate records of all maintenance and repair work performed or needed.
• Executing repairs under warranty to manufacturer specifications.
• Maintain a clean and orderly work area following prescribed safety regulations.
