Job summary

Euromotors Auto Group is seeking a Service Technician to join our growing team in the Northern California area. The right candidate will have ASE certification and a solid service technician background, with duties including diagnosing repairs and completing work on repair orders.

You will test-drive vehicles, diagnose and repair multiple systems, and maintain open communication with the Service Advisor to inform customers of additional work and timing.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of Service Technician experience preferred.
• ASE Certification required.
• B level qualifications: Diagnostic, Electrical and Engine Repair.
• Dexterity and steady hand; good hand-eye coordination.
• Mechanical and troubleshooting skills with ability to operate electronic diagnostic equipment.
• Excellent customer service and basic computer skills; positive, proactive attitude.
• Enjoy working in a dynamic environment and collaborating with others.
• Valid driver’s license and clean driving record.

Responsibilities

• Perform work specified on the repair order with efficiency and in accordance with dealership standards.
• Test-drive vehicles and test components and systems using diagnostic tools and service equipment.
• Diagnose, maintain, and repair vehicle automotive systems including engine, transmission, electrical, steering, suspension, brakes, and A/C.
• Communicate with the Service Advisor to inform customers of additional repairs and provide time estimates.
• Execute repairs under warranty to manufacturer specifications.

Responsibilities

• Perform work specified on the repair order with efficiency and in accordance with dealership
• Test-drive vehicles, and test components and systems, using diagnostic tools and special service equipment
• Diagnose, maintain, and repair vehicle automotive systems including engine, transmission, electrical steering, suspension, brakes, air conditioning, etc.
• Communicate directly with the Service Advisor so that customers are informed if any additional service is needed. Provide an estimate of time needed for additional repairs
• Execute repairs under warranty to manufacturer specifications
