Qualifications

Job Summary: We are looking for an Express Service Technician to join our growing team! The day-to-day duties include performing maintenance services, recalls, etc., on specific vehicles.

Responsibilities

  • Perform work specified on the repair order efficiently and according to dealership standards
  • Test-drive vehicles and components using diagnostic tools and special service equipment
  • Diagnose, maintain, and repair vehicle systems including engine, transmission, electrical, steering, suspension, brakes, air conditioning, etc.
  • Communicate directly with the Service Advisor to inform customers of additional services needed and provide repair estimates
  • Execute warranty repairs according to manufacturer specifications

Qualifications

  • 2+ years of Service Technician experience
  • High school diploma or equivalent; ASE Certification required
  • B-level qualifications, including diagnostic, electrical, and engine repair
  • Dexterity and steady hand, excellent hand-eye coordination
  • Mechanical troubleshooting skills and ability to operate diagnostic equipment
  • Excellent customer service skills and basic computer skills
  • Positive, friendly attitude and eagerness to learn
  • Ability to work in a dynamic environment and collaborate effectively with teammates
  • Ability to learn new technology, repair procedures, and specifications
  • Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record
