Job summary

Restaurant Technologies is seeking a Service Technician to install and service advanced equipment for new and existing customers nationwide. You will train customers, troubleshoot, perform routine maintenance, and ensure safety and quality standards are met.

You may perform night installations depending on demand and schedule. Depot location is listed; the role offers a quarterly bonus up to $5,200, shift pay differentials, benefits, and growth opportunities across 41 depots.

Qualifications

• Must be 21 years of age with a valid driver's license.
• High School Diploma or Equivalent.
• Subject to a DOT-mandated pre-employment drug test.
• Ability to work within a team environment.
• Ability to problem solve for installation and service.
• Ability to perform basic mechanical and/or electrical duties.
• Strong customer focus and positive handling of issues.
• Must meet Fleet Safety requirements and have a clean driving record.
• Ability to lift 50 pounds and engage in physical tasks.

Responsibilities

• Install and service our products at customer locations.
• Meet and manage service labor per hour and timelines.
• Comply with regulatory requirements including DOT, OSHA, and HACCP.
• Maintain parts, supplies, and paperwork in service vehicles.
• Communicate with customers to ensure product performance.
• Train and coach customers on system operation as needed.
• Utilize iPhone apps for parts, notes, and clocking in/out.

The Service Technician plays a critical role in the success of Restaurant Technologies. Our Service Technicians are responsible for the installation and servicing of our advanced equipment in locations throughout the food service industry. As a Service Technician with Restaurant Technologies, you’ll install our core products for new customers and assist with customer training through troubleshooting and servicing. Primary Job Accountabilities

• Responsible for installing and maintaining our products in a safe, timely, and accurate manner.
• Meet and control operational goals and timelines- service labor per hour, first time right, 5S standards, etc.
• Comply with internal processes and procedures and all local and federally regulated requirements including DOT, OSHA, and HACCP.
• Maintain proper parts and supply levels in company service vehicles and proper paperwork standards.
• Communicate with customers to ensure product performance meets customers’ expectations.
• Efficiently and professionally service customers’ needs, training and coaching them on the system as needed.
• Utilize iPhone apps to perform multiple functions in role (parts, customer notes, clocking in/out).
• The position may include night installation work; the schedule will vary based on customer demand & install schedule.

Education, Requirements & Competencies: Minimum Qualifications

• Must be 21 years of age with a valid driver's license.
• High School Diploma or Equivalent.
• This position requires the operation of a DOT-regulated vehicle, and candidates will be subject to passing a DOT-mandated pre-employment drug test. Please be advised, a positive result for any controlled substance will disqualify applicants; including marijuana (THC), even if it is legal under state or local law.
• Ability to work within a team environment.
• Ability to problem solve customer issues for installation and service.
• Ability to perform basic mechanical and/or electrical duties.
• Strong customer focus and ability to respond to challenging customer situations in a positive manner.
• Must meet Restaurant Technologies’ Fleet Safety requirements and maintain a clean driving record.
• Ability to carry 50 pounds by hand.
• Unrestricted ability to bend, stoop, squat, stand, walk, climb, twist, turn and reach out.
• Ability to climb up and down a ladder as high as 20 feet in the air.
