Job summary

Morgan Properties is hiring a Service Technician for our 332-unit community. The role involves trouble-shooting HVAC, appliance, carpentry, electrical and plumbing issues to meet company standards and legal requirements.

Expect on-call rotation, clear communication with residents and staff, and responsive ticket resolution. Schedule is Monday–Friday, 8:30 AM–5:00 PM, with 50% rent discount and a comprehensive benefits package including medical, dental, vision, 401(k) with company match, and paid

Qualifications

• HVAC, appliance, carpentry, electrical and plumbing issues troubleshooting.
• Active, valid driver’s license and access to personal vehicle.
• One year of related maintenance experience or equivalent education.
• EPA/CFC certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot maintenance service issues across HVAC, appliances, electrical, plumbing and carpentry.
• Maintain interior and exterior areas to company standards and laws.
• Respond promptly to maintenance tickets and communicate updates to residents and staff.
• Be prepared for emergency events and participate in on-call rotation.

Now hiring Service Technicians!

We are seeking a Service Technician with a "Whatever It Takes" approach to join our team! In this full-time role, you will be responsible for ensuring that the physical aspects of this 332-unit property at the Fairways and Tory Estates meet both company standards and applicable laws.

As the Service Technician, you will help to:

Be responsible for trouble-shooting service issues including, but not limited to, HVAC, general appliance, carpentry, electrical and plumbing.

Maintain interior and exterior areas in accordance with company standards, compliance requirements, and applicable laws

Respond promptly and efficiently to maintenance service tickets

Communicate clearly and professionally with residents and office staff regarding repairs and updates

Compensation & Incentives

Base Pay: $21.00 – $ 22.00/hour

Up to 50% Rent Discount

Property Staff Shared Renewal Commissions

On-Call Appreciation: $15/day for holding the on-call phone

Generous Paid Time Off, including 10 holidays per year and sick leave

Paid rotating on-call participation required

What We’ll Expect From You
