Job summary

LeoForce is seeking a highly skilled Permanent Maintenance Technician to support our manufacturing operations. The role involves routine inspections, preventive maintenance, and timely repairs to keep equipment running at peak performance.

You will work hands-on, troubleshoot complex issues, and collaborate with the team to optimize production while adhering to safety standards and documentation practices. A strong technical aptitude is required.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years in a maintenance technician role within manufacturing.
• Strong mechanical and electrical systems knowledge.
• Extensive knowledge of manufacturing methods and procedures.
• Experience with equipment repair, selection, operation, and control.
• Excellent knowledge of machines, tools and preventive maintenance practices.
• Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
• Basic safety knowledge and adherence to safety protocols.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with good communication.
• High school diploma or equivalent; vocational degree or BSc/BA in business administration or facility management is a plus.
• Certification from a relevant professional body is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Conduct routine inspections of machinery and equipment to identify malfunctions.
• Perform preventative maintenance on machinery to ensure optimal performance, including cleaning and servicing.
• Troubleshoot and repair mechanical or electrical issues in a timely manner.
• Select and use appropriate tools and equipment for each task; ensure safety and effectiveness.
• Collaborate with team members to optimize production and improve methods.
• Ensure maintenance activities adhere to compliance regulations and safety standards.
• Document and maintain records of inspections, maintenance, and repair work.
• Provide technical input on equipment installation, modification, and upgrades.
• Participate in ongoing training to stay updated with industry trends.

• 10. Certification from a relevant professional body will be a plus.
