Job summary

LeoForce in New Albany, Indiana, is seeking a Permanent Maintenance Technician (mid level) to maintain production equipment and ensure peak performance.

You will troubleshoot pneumatic and hydraulic systems, repair pumps and motors, operate a forklift, and document all maintenance and part usage. We value 5+ years of manufacturing maintenance experience, safety mindedness, and the ability to train junior staff as part of a collaborative team.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 5 years of experience in a similar role within the manufacturing industry.
• Extensive knowledge and experience with pneumatic, hydraulic, pumps, motors, bearings, and other industrial equipment.
• Proven ability to troubleshoot and repair mechanical and electrical issues.
• Experience operating a forklift and other heavy machinery.
• Strong understanding of industrial manufacturing processes and equipment.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently.
• Good communication skills, both written and verbal, for effective coordination with team members.
• A commitment to adhering to all safety protocols and procedures.
• A high school diploma or equivalent. Post-secondary training in industrial maintenance, mechanics, or a related field is considered an asset.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine and preventative maintenance on production equipment.
• Troubleshoot and repair pneumatic and hydraulic systems, pumps, motors, bearings, and other machinery.
• Operate a forklift to move heavy equipment and materials as needed.
• Utilize knowledge of machines and tools to diagnose problems and determine repairs.
• Work with other team members and departments to coordinate maintenance and repair work.
• Adhere to safety protocols and procedures to maintain a safe and efficient work environment.
• Keep detailed records of maintenance and repairs, including parts used.
• Assist in training new maintenance staff and operators on equipment operation and maintenance procedures.
