Job summary

Palmdale Oil Company is seeking a Field Service Technician to repair and install pumps, meters, cameras, and GPS systems across multiple Florida locations. The role requires strong customer service, self-motivation, and comfort with travel, heights, and confined spaces.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Repair and install pumps, meters, nozzles, hoses, and fuel distribution components.
• Service Wayne and Gasboy dispensers, PetroVend cardlocks, and Veeder-Root systems.
• Knowledge of wiring – 12V/24V/115/240V is a plus.
• Install GPS systems and cameras; perform auto decal installations.

Palmdale currently operates in more than 50 counties across Florida and provides a wide range of tailored commercial fuel and lubricant solutions to customers in the agricultural, industrial, construction, marine, and government sectors. Operating out of 20 locations statewide, the company is a leader in the industry in the procurement and sale of gasoline, diesel, biodiesel, commercial and industrial lubricants, and chemicals that are used across a diverse set of end markets. Palmdale Oil Company is one of the largest family-owned petroleum wholesale company in the State of Florida. We sell diesel, gasoline, marine fuels, and oils/lubricant.

Palmdale Oil is seeking a Field Service Technician in the Lakeland area. This hands-on role involves repairing and installing equipment such as pumps, meters, cameras, and GPS systems, as well as performing metal fabrication and facility maintenance across multiple Florida locations. The ideal candidate will have strong customer service skills, be self-motivated, computer literate, and comfortable with travel, heights, and confined spaces. MIG welding experience is a plus.

Job Responsibilities

• Repair work such as re-piping fuel tanks, installation and repairs of Fill-Rite and Piusi pumps, fuel and DEF meters, nozzles, hoses and other fuel distribution applications.
• Experience in Wayne and Gasboy dispensers, PetroVend cardlocks, veeder root
• Knowledge of wiring – 12v/24v /115/240 is a plus
• GPS and auto decal installations
• Facility Maintenance – repairs/replacement of general plant items as well as load rack and fuel containment maintenance.
• Install cameras and GPS systems
• Maintain all equipment at several facilities throughout Florida
