Overview

Job Title: Service Technician

As a Service Technician, you will be responsible for driving a service vehicle to client sites to install, troubleshoot, and repair fuel tanks. This role requires mechanical aptitude and knowledge to handle tasks such as installing or repairing pumps, meters, connections, hoses, gas motors, and more. The service technician will primarily work with basic wiring connections up to 12 volts, with no extensive electrical hook-ups.

Responsibilities
  • Drive service vehicle to various locations including construction sites, mills, plants, factories, shops, and gas stations to service above-ground fuel tanks.
  • Conduct 3-5 service calls per day across territories including Jacksonville, Ocala, Gainesville, St. Marys, Brunswick, and the Cocoa/Orlando/Lake City area.
  • Utilize provided tools and company card to secure additional parts if necessary.
  • Operate a forklift and be capable of lifting up to 50 lbs and working on top of tanks.
  • Maintain reliability with a schedule provided the night before, prioritizing service calls as directed.
  • Work overtime when needed to fulfill service commitments.
Essential Skills
  • 2+ years of experience in mechanical repair (experience working with pumps, motors, connections, and hoses is a plus!)
  • Experience with mechanical troubleshooting is preferred
  • Ability to drive a service truck with a clean Motor Vehicle Record (MVR).
  • Experience with pump assembly, field service, and installation
Additional Skills & Qualifications
  • Plumbing experience with hoses, connections, installations, and piecing components together.
  • Experience with small gas motors/engines, such as lawn mowers.
  • Problem-solving skills.
  • Physical capability to work in outdoor, hot, dusty, and dirty environments.
  • Reliability is essential.
  • Ability to work 50-60 hours per week.

Pay and Benefits
  • The pay range for this position is $22.00 - $25.00/hr.
