Key Responsibilities
Technical Duties:
  • Install, maintain, and troubleshoot wireless internet equipment, including antennas, routers, and access points.
  • Conduct site surveys to determine optimal placement for wireless connectivity.
  • Respond to service tickets, diagnose connectivity issues, and provide on-site and remote support.
  • Configure and test networking equipment (modems, routers, switches) for customers.
  • Assist in expanding network infrastructure, including tower maintenance and equipment upgrades.
  • Maintain accurate installation and repair documentation.
Administrative Duties:
  • Schedule service appointments and coordinate technician dispatch.
  • Maintain customer records, work orders, and inventory databases.
  • Process service agreements, invoices, and payments.
  • Provide customer support via phone and email, troubleshooting basic connectivity issues.
  • Assist in compliance tracking and reporting for grant-funded projects.
  • Support project management, including documentation and communication with vendors and partners.
Qualifications & Skills:
  • Experience in wireless internet service installation, networking, or telecommunications.
  • Basic knowledge of networking concepts (IP addressing, routers, firewalls, wireless signals).
  • Ability to work at heights and in outdoor conditions as needed.
  • Strong administrative skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word) and CRM software.
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills.
  • Strong organizational skills with attention to detail.
  • Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
Work Location:
  • This role is mostly remote, with the exception of periodic on-site visits to customers' homes.
