Job summary

Dimplex Thermal Solutions is seeking an HVAC/R technician with strong refrigeration knowledge to support industrial chillers and process cooling equipment. The role involves reading drawings, troubleshooting, and remote support, with occasional travel and on-call duty.

Candidates should have an associate degree or higher in HVAC/R or related field, hold a valid driver's license, and be able to obtain a passport; experience with PLCs/controllers and pumps is valued.

• Ability to read refrigeration, plumbing, and electrical drawings, schematics, and bills of materials.
• Hands-on experience troubleshooting and repairing commercial or industrial refrigeration equipment.
• Experience supporting technicians or customers remotely by phone, email, or video.
• Ability and willingness to travel occasionally and participate in the rotating on-call schedule.
• Valid driver's license, reliable transportation, and ability to obtain and maintain a valid passport without travel restrictions.

Preferred Qualifications

• Successful completion of refrigeration/HVAC coursework or equivalent demonstrated hands-on experience.


• Working knowledge of refrigeration, electrical, controls, and plumbing practices; experience with industrial chillers or heat pumps is strongly valued.


• Ability to read and interpret refrigeration, plumbing, and electrical drawings, schematics, and bills of materials.


• Associate degree or higher in HVAC/R, electrical technology, controls, mechatronics, or a related technical field.


• Hands-on experience troubleshooting and repairing commercial or industrial refrigeration equipment.


• Experience supporting technicians or customers remotely by phone, email, or video.


• Experience with chillers, process cooling equipment, PLCs/controllers, pumps, or heat-transfer systems.
