Job summary

Jimmy Britt Chevrolet is seeking a skilled auto technician to join our family-run dealership in Georgia. This on-site role requires diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining all vehicle systems while coordinating with the Service Advisor to inform customers of needed services.

We offer premium pay for experienced technicians and a path for career growth. Responsibilities include testing, diagnostics, and estimating repair times, plus performing warranty work per manufacturer specs.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• At least 1 year of experience as an auto technician.
• Knowledge in all aspects of automotive repair and maintenance.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Clean driving record and valid driver’s license.

Responsibilities

• Perform work specified on the repair order with efficiency and in accordance with dealership.
• Test drive vehicles, and test components and systems, using diagnostic tools and special service equipment.
• Diagnose, maintain, and repair vehicle automotive systems.
• Communicate directly with the Service Advisor so that customers can be informed if any additional service is needed.
• Provide estimates of time needed for additional repairs.
• Execute repairs under warranty to manufacturer specifications.

We are willing to offer PREMIUM PAY for experienced A and B techs as we understand your investments to get to this level, and offer Premium pay and Scheduling considerations. Have only limited experience, but lack certifications. We are happy to train you and get you on the path to growing in your career.
