Job summary

Ferrellgas is seeking a dependable, hands-on Service Technician in the Eugene area to install, repair, and maintain propane systems for homes and businesses. You will be the friendly face ensuring safety, reliability, and prompt service for customers on local routes, with opportunities to assist with appliance service and deliveries as needed.

You will respond to emergencies, perform safety checks, and uphold high safety and service standards while working in a team-focused environment.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• 3+ years of related service or technical experience preferred.
• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
• CDL Class B with Hazmat and Tanker endorsements (preferred).
• Citizen or National of the United States, or authorized to work in the United States.

Responsibilities

• Install, repair, and maintain propane systems and equipment for residential and commercial customers.
• Respond to emergency calls and perform system testing to ensure safety compliance.
• Safely load, transport, and deliver propane as needed.
• Provide excellent customer service by answering questions and sharing safety and service information.
• Assist with appliance service and deliveries when needed based on customer demand.
