Job summary

Ferrellgas is seeking a dependable Service Technician to install, maintain, and repair propane systems for residential and commercial customers in Eldon, IA. You’ll help keep homes warm and safe while delivering excellent service and fast problem resolution.

In this role you’ll work on local routes, follow safety protocols, and collaborate with a team that values reliability, hands-on skills, and customer care. CDL may be preferred for this position.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• 3+ years of related service or technical experience preferred.
• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.

Responsibilities

• Install, repair, and maintain propane systems and equipment for residential and commercial customers.
• Respond to emergency calls and perform system testing to ensure safety compliance.
• Safely load, transport, and deliver propane as needed.
• Provide excellent customer service by answering questions and sharing safety and service information.
• Assist with appliance service and deliveries when needed based on customer demand.
