Job summary

Rainbow Restoration in Dickinson, Texas is seeking a Restoration Technician to handle the restoration of carpets, upholstery, and draperies damaged by various methods. You will be part of a key team responsible for maintaining equipment and communicating work scopes with customers.

Ideal candidates will have good communication skills and may hold restoration or construction experience. Your efforts will also include marketing additional services as needed.

The compensation package offers an annual salary between $24,500 and $35,000.

Position Summary

As a restoration technician, you are a key team member responsible for the restoration of carpets, upholstery and draperies that have been damaged by water, smoke, fire, debris or other methods of damage. You will demonstrate respect and courtesy to all customers and employees.

Responsibilities

• Become proficient in water restoration, mold remediation, and fire damage clean‑up
• Establish and maintain a schedule to ensure all services are delivered in a timely manner
• Respond to water jobs and initiate water mitigation according to IICRC standards and company processes
• Communicate with customers about scope of work and review necessary paperwork
• Maintain all restoration and cleaning equipment, keeping them clean and properly maintained to be available at all times
• Perform marketing tasks to sell additional services or develop additional business as required
• Perform other duties as needed, which may include cross‑training in related positions

Requirements

• Restoration and construction experience helpful, but not required
• Valid driver’s license
• Able to occasionally lift and/or move up to 100 pounds
• Computer literate, with working knowledge of work processing, business software and spreadsheet applications
• Excellent communication skills
