Description

$34 - $46+ / hour

This individual will be responsible for the effective repair of machinery and components at high levels of quality. Their work must be completed in a safe, professional, and timely manner. Depending on their expertise, the Service Technician may work under direct supervision. They must perform quality work efficiently and profitably, with occasional overtime and weekend work.

Specific Duties Include:
  • Diagnose, inspect, recondition, repair, assemble, and service equipment as assigned
  • Document machine information and repairs on work orders, including parts and fluids used
  • Maintain a clean work area and care for all tools, machines, and equipment
  • Identify and communicate solutions for customer service opportunities
  • Maintain technical and product knowledge of all equipment sold within the dealership
  • Follow safety rules and policies as per company manuals and employee handbook
  • Present a professional image to customers and the community
  • Participate in training to develop skills and knowledge
  • Engage in company communication efforts like meetings and huddles
  • Maintain positive relationships with peers and management, demonstrating teamwork and customer service
  • Perform other duties as assigned professionally and efficiently
Job Requirements:
  • Excellent mechanical skills
  • Trade-specific tools, including hand and pneumatic tools
  • Strong computer skills
  • Excellent customer service skills
  • Ability to assemble and maintain equipment
  • Strong communication and organizational skills
  • Graduation from a related diesel technology program preferred
