Job description

Immediate Need for a Bi-Lingual (English & Spanish) Service Technician in the Bloomingdale, IL area. This is a permanent position with competitive salary with provide healthcare coverage for employee, spouse and dependents, vision, dental, 401(k) with match. Company covers all expenses when traveling. After 1 yr. travel approximately 50% of the time to North American customers.

Requirements:

• Minimum HS Diploma/GED; trade education in pneumatics a plus
• Past technical experience in a manufacturing or service environment - a plus
• Use of general warehouse equipment (i.e. forklift, various hand tools, etc.)
• Bi-lingual in Spanish and English a plus

Responsibilities:

• Assist the Service Manager with all technical aspects of machinery; set-ups, run-offs, installations, modifications and operator and maintenance training (both in-house and at customer facilities).
• Assist customers by phone or in person with operational procedures, technical service regarding repair or replacement of defective parts with the correct part.
• Oversee UPS shipments, spare parts orders, recording of shipment arrival and departure , general building maintenance and any additional technical support required by the Service Manager.
• Use acquired knowledge and experience to upgrade job efficiency, making suggestions for proposed improvements.
