Job summary

Power Design, Inc. in Arlington, TX is seeking a skilled Service Technician to install and repair wiring, fixtures, and equipment to keep field teams productive and projects on schedule.

The ideal candidate has 5+ years in electrical service, holds a Journeyman or Master license, NEC knowledge, and proficiency with Microsoft Office. Willingness to travel and commitment to safety are essential, with a focus on delivering excellent customer service.

Qualifications

• OSHA 30 certification preferred.
• Skilled electrician with at least five years of electrical service experience required, and ten years of related experience preferred.
• Active Journeyman or Masters electrical license required.
• Proficient knowledge of the National Electrical Code (NEC), local codes, and construction safety requirements.
• Experience in Microsoft Office suite, (Excel, Word, and Outlook) preferred.
• Self-motivated individual with the ability to work independently.
• Ability to travel as required.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventative and corrective maintenance when required, as well as diagnose and resolve any issues as needed.
• Ensure that all work adheres to contract scope and specifications, job site safety and security, and Power Design’s values, policies, and procedures.
• Provide superior customer service to develop and grow customer relationships.
• Provide weekly status updates on warranty calls, small projects, service work, service tickets, labor requirements, and material requirements.
• Work as an electrician on a designated jobsite when not answering service calls or performing maintenance.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

About the Position
