Job summary

Sierra Pacific Industries, a large family‑owned lumber and millwork company based in Northern California, seeks a Service Technician for the Anderson, California area. You will collaboratively support our Trucking division with tire repair and routine truck maintenance to ensure smooth operations.

The position offers a competitive hourly wage of $27.81, a signing bonus of up to $1,500, and benefits including health coverage, a 401(k) plan, and paid vacation plus holidays.

• Recent related work history with verifiable references.
• Must be at least 18 years old.

Responsibilities

• Truck tire repair and mounting/dismounting tires.
• Perform service and minor truck repairs (seals, brakes, lights, oil/filters, wiring).
• Maintain maintenance records and conduct safety inspections on trucks and trailers.
• Work is fast-paced and may be demanding.
• Heavy lifting and outdoor conditions (hot/cold).
• Shifts vary with overtime, weekends, and holidays.

Currently, we are seeking a qualified Service Technician to work collaboratively with our Trucking division in Anderson, California.

About the Position

• Truck tire repair and mount and dismount tires
• Perform service and minor repairs of trucks including change wheel seals, brake jobs, repair lights, oil and filter changes, and wiring
• Maintain maintenance records and perform safety inspections on trucks and trailers
• The work is fast paced and can, at times, be demanding
• There is heavy lifting and working in both hot and cold work environments
• This position will consist of various shifts, with some overtime, weekend and holiday work during busy production times

Qualifications
