About the Job

Our Service Technicians are multi-functional, inspecting buildings, performing repairs or readiness work including framing and finish carpentry, light electrical, flooring, plumbing, painting, running gear, and more to our fleet of modular buildings. An eye for quality and a commitment to safety are critical for this role!

What You'll Be Doing

Safety/Environment

• Act in accordance with Williams Scotsman Safety, Transportation, and Environmental Policies.
• Promote employee health and safety through creating a safer workplace, training, observations, and regular assessments.
• Attend safety meetings.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area.
• Operate company vehicle safely, maintaining a valid driver's license and a clean driving record.

Fleet & Resource Management

• Perform repairs to mobile office trailers including framing, carpentry, electrical, flooring, plumbing, painting, and running gear.
• Inspect and assess rented buildings for repairs and damages, creating floor plans as needed.
• Perform customer-requested modifications.
• Maintain inventory of equipment, tools, parts, and supplies.
• Provide courteous customer service and explain repairs and services.
• Ensure trailers are ready for delivery at quality standards.
• Complete paperwork for deliveries, pickups, and service calls.
• Perform HVAC checks and maintenance.
• Perform duties at field locations as needed.

Education and Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED.
• Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.
• Basic computer skills and good communication skills.
• Carpentry knowledge and experience.
• Electrical, plumbing, and welding experience are a plus.
• Valid driver's license with a clean record.
