ABOUT THE JOB:

Our Service Technicians are multi-functional, inspecting buildings and performing repairs or readiness work, including framing, finish carpentry, light electrical, flooring, plumbing, painting, running gear, and more on our fleet of modular buildings. A keen eye for quality and a commitment to safety are essential for this role!

WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING:

Safety/Environment:

  • Act in accordance with Williams Scotsman Safety, Transportation, and Environmental Policies.
  • Lead and promote employee health and safety through creating a safer workplace, DuPont STOPAaA, training, observations, and regular assessments.
  • Attend safety meetings regularly.
  • Maintain a clean and organized work area.
  • Operate a company vehicle safely, maintaining a valid driver’s license and a clean driving record.

Fleet & Efficient Use of Resources:

  • Perform repairs on mobile office trailers, including framing, carpentry, electrical, flooring, plumbing, painting, and running gear.
  • Conduct check-in/out inspections, determine repair scope, and create floor plan drawings as needed.
  • Perform modifications requested by customers.
  • Maintain inventory levels of equipment, tools, parts, and VAPS.
  • Provide courteous customer service, explaining repairs and services.
  • Ensure trailers are ready for delivery on schedule and meet quality standards.
  • Perform yard service tasks as needed.
  • Complete paperwork for deliveries, pickups, and service calls.
  • Perform HVAC checks and maintenance according to guidelines.
  • Perform duties at field locations as needed.
EDUCATION AND QUALIFICATIONS:
  • High School diploma or GED.
  • Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.
  • Basic computer skills and good communication skills for dealing with customers and team members.
  • Carpentry knowledge and experience.
  • Electrical, plumbing, and welding experience is a plus.
  • Valid driver’s license with a clean record.

Salary Range: $26.80-$34.85

Rates are based on factors like skills, experience, and certifications, including overtime and variable pay such as bonuses or commissions.
