Stormont Vail HealthCare, Inc. seeks a Linen Services Technician to support the Linen Department in a hospital setting. You will sort and inspect linens, operate laundry equipment, and ensure clean, neatly folded linen is distributed throughout the Medical Center.
The position is full-time in the second shift (evenings) with a 40-hour work week and up to 20% travel for delivery and pick-up as needed. Compliance with policies and the Remote Work guidelines is not applicable to this on-site role.

Duties can range between sanitation, laundry, and nutritional services. Linen Services Techs work in all stations of the Linen Department and distributes linen throughout the Medical Center.

Workspace is a quiet and distraction-free allowing the ability to comply with all security and privacy standards. Stable access to electricity and a minimum of 25mb upload and internet speed. Dedicate full attention to the job duties and communication with others during working hours. Adhere to break and attendance schedules agreed upon with supervisor. Abide by Stormont Vail’s Remote Worker Policy and will review and acknowledge the Remote Work Agreement annually.

Incumbent may drive between facility locations for delivery and pick-up. May need to push or pull up to 200 pounds when transporting materials.
While performing the duties of this job the employee is regularly required to work indoors with extreme temperature fluctuations sometimes exceeding 90 degrees F. The employee is regularly exposed to heavy equipment with moving parts, blood borne pathogens, hazardous chemicals and humid conditions.
