Job summary

Waukesha-Pearce Industries in Odessa, TX is seeking a Full Time Service Technician Class A to repair and overhaul industrial natural gas engines. You will assist the service manager with supervisory duties and work on engine/compressor packages or engine/generator packages.

Scope of Work:
Repair and overhaul of industrial natural gas engines.

Primary Job Responsibilities:

• Assist the service manager with supervisory duties.
• Must be able to work alone on engine/compressor packages or engine/generator packages and be professional on their assignments.
• Understands engine electric controls.
• Understands engine governing systems including electronic controls.
• Can perform all work associated with gas compressor revamp.
• Stay informed of the latest changes in the various models of equipment.
• Ensure that all jobs are completed and that the work was done in a proficient and safe manner.
• Promote good welfare among the company and its’ divisions.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

QualificationsJOB REQUIREMENTS

Minimum Qualifications:

• Must have 4 year(s) previous experience.
• Must have G.E.D. High School Diploma, prefer applied certification (s) job description.
• Must meet all of the qualifications of a Service Tech Class A.
• Must have advance troubleshooting skills
• Certification in WED VHP technology and VGF technology preferred.

Working Conditions:

• Typical hours of work Monday through Friday; 7:30 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.
• Weekend hours as necessary.
• Outside work as required.
• Customers locations as required.
