Position Summary

Under minimal supervision, performs diagnostic and service work on residential and/or light commercial HVAC equipment. Communicates with customers to ensure satisfaction, promotes products, and works under the direction of the Field Supervisor or General Manager.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform residential and/or light commercial service and maintenance calls
  • Diagnose and resolve customer issues professionally and efficiently
  • Inspect and troubleshoot HVAC systems, perform diagnostics, and identify potential problems
  • Complete routine maintenance and equipment cleaning
  • Handle parts and equipment logistics for service jobs
  • Record all service information accurately and complete forms timely
  • Maintain communication with dispatch regarding job status
  • Deliver excellent customer service and promote company products/services
  • Ensure proper use and maintenance of company property and tools
  • Represent the company professionally and ethically
  • Follow procedures for vehicle and warranty part management
  • Perform other duties as assigned and maintain reliable attendance
Health & Safety Roles And Responsibilities
  • Report unsafe acts, conditions, hazards, and incidents immediately
  • Use PPE and follow safety protocols
  • Participate in safety initiatives and committees
  • Ensure compliance with legislation and company policies
Desired Skills And Qualifications
  • High school diploma or GED, with 2-5 years HVAC experience and technical training
  • Valid licensing and certifications, including EPA
  • Proficiency in servicing HVAC systems, reading wiring diagrams, troubleshooting electrical and refrigerant issues
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills
  • Valid driver’s license with acceptable record
  • Flexibility to work on-call and irregular hours
  • Physical ability to lift up to 75 lbs, climb ladders, and work in various environments
