Job summary

Take Ten Tire and Service in Tulsa, Oklahoma is seeking a dependable Commercial Tire Service Technician to join our team. Responsibilities

• Perform fleet inspections, scrap tire analysis, and dispatch-related duties as applicable.
• Communicate potential issues to management and recommend solutions.
• Maintain inventory of tires, repair supplies, and customer-specific parts.
• Keep service trucks, tools, and equipment clean, organized and stocked.
• Complete daily pre-trip vehicle inspections and check fluid levels.
• Report mechanical issues or safety concerns promptly.
• Operate company vehicles safely and follow traffic laws and PPE.
• Participate in training and maintain current TIA certifications.

Are you experienced in tire service and repair and looking to grow your skills? Take Ten Tire and Service is looking for a dependable, safety-focused Commercial Tire Service Technician to join our team in Tulsa, Oklahoma!

In this role, you will provide quality tire service and repairs for our customers, working in the shop and through mobile service calls. The ideal candidate takes pride in their work, values customer satisfaction, and understands the importance of working safely and efficiently.

What You’ll Do

• Mount, balance, rotate, and repair tires for passenger vehicles and commercial trucks. Large truck tire service requires completion of TIA Commercial Tire Service (CTS) certification.
• Perform tire repairs and other assigned services in the shop and through mobile service calls.
• Inspect vehicles, complete written tire inspections, and recommend additional services when needed.
• Perform fleet inspections, scrap tire analysis, and dispatch-related duties as applicable.
• Communicate potential vehicle or service issues to management and recommend appropriate solutions.
• Maintain adequate inventory of tires, repair supplies, and customer-specific parts.
• Keep service trucks, tools, and equipment clean, organized, properly stocked, and in good working condition.
• Complete daily pre-trip vehicle inspections and check fluid levels in service vehicles and air compressors.
• Report mechanical issues, defects, or safety concerns to management promptly.
• Operate company vehicles safely and follow all traffic laws and company policies.
• Follow established safety procedures and use required personal protective equipment (PPE).
• Participate in required training and maintain current TIA certifications and any other certifications needed for assigned work.

Requirements

• 1-2 years of industrial pressing experience (preferred, but will train)
• 1 - 2 years of experience in heavy-duty and commercial tires
• 1 - 2 years of experience in passenger, light truck, agriculture, or industrial tires.
• ASE/TIA certification and/or willingness to participate in training
• Maintain a high level of motivation, energy, and a customer-focused attitude.
• Must have a valid driver’s license with a clean record.
• Ability to lift and/or move tires weighing between 30 and 250 lbs. with or without mechanical assistance.
• Must have an upbeat and positive outlook and excel in a team environment.
• Enjoy a physically demanding work environment.
• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Must pass a background check.
