As a Service Technician - Class C, you will work in an OJT status, closely observing and assisting senior technicians to gain knowledge.

Assist in various phases of operation, maintenance, repair, and overhaul of equipment systems. Support senior technicians and learn through observation while working as a Service Technician - Class C in an OJT capacity.

Duties and Responsibilities
  • Assist in shop and field repairs
  • Complete service reports, time cards, and paperwork legibly
  • Support senior technicians and observe to enhance skills
  • Ensure work is completed proficiently and safely
  • Maintain cleanliness of the work area after each job
  • Participate in training and service schools offered by the company
  • Perform additional duties as assigned
Qualifications
  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • Mechanical aptitude
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
  • Understanding of the role and its relation to business objectives
  • Valid driver's license with acceptable driving record
  • Ability to pass drug and alcohol testing as per DOT requirements
  • Ability to lift 50 pounds, bend, and twist regularly
  • Proficiency in operating test equipment and troubleshooting skills
Working Conditions
  • Typical hours: Monday to Friday, 7:30 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.
  • Weekend work as needed
  • Possible work in adverse weather and hazardous environments
