As an HVAC Technician Apprentice, you will assist experienced Service Technicians in installing and repairing environmental control systems, utilizing knowledge of refrigeration, control systems, pipe fitting, and structural layouts. Working directly for a leading manufacturer, you'll have access to technical support, training on the latest technology, and clear career growth paths.

Where Is The Work

This position is remote with work performed in Sioux Falls, SD.

What You Will Do

• Ensure customer satisfaction by servicing products and systems, diagnosing issues, and planning repairs.
• Collaborate with field technicians, project managers, and customers to understand installation requirements, forecast issues, and coordinate materials and work.
• Use advanced software, hand-tools, blueprints, and engineering specs to diagnose and repair units.
• Maintain safety standards and security of company assets.

Opportunity to join our Trane Commercial HVAC Technician Apprenticeship Program (TAP), a four-year, nationally registered program that includes paid instruction and on-the-job training. Participants are paired with mentors, receive pay raises, and upon completion, earn a recognized industry credential and promotion to HVAC Service Technician.

What You Will Bring

• No prior industry experience required.
• Technical school certificates or HVAC training/experience are considered for proficiency and pay.
• Must be at least 18 years old on day 1.
• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Valid driver’s license for at least 12 months, with no major traffic violations in the last 3 years.
• A strong desire to learn and impact the world positively.

Compensation

Base Pay Range: $varies based on experience and location
