Job summary

Carrols Corporation is the largest BURGER KING franchise and is seeking an Equipment Service Technician for its group of restaurants. You will respond to maintenance needs and perform preventative maintenance to uphold the restaurants when issues arise, reporting to the District Manager.

Qualified candidates should have electrical, plumbing, carpentry and mechanical knowledge, plus experience with food service equipment repair. A valid driver's license and reliable transportation are required.

Qualifications

• General electrical, plumbing, carpentry knowledge required.
• General mechanical knowledge required.
• Food service equipment repair experience is a plus.
• HVAC repair certification is a plus.

Equipment Service Technician

About Us

Carrols Corporation is the largest BURGER KING franchise. We are currently looking for an experienced individual to fill the position of Equipment Service Technician for a group of our Burger King Restaurants.

Reporting to the District Manager, the candidate will be responsible for completing the duties required to maintain the physical integrity of each assigned restaurant through the implementation of preventative maintenance and responding to the maintenance needs of each restaurant.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

1. Prioritize and complete needed repairs as they occur in a timely fashion.
2. Work with the R&M Budget to implement preventive maintenance procedures as defined by company representatives.
3. Develop a work schedule to minimize the impact on customer service and restaurant operations.

Qualifications:

The candidate must have the ability to work independently. This individual must have the ability to communicate with management and coworkers, and the ability to comprehend and appropriately react to others. The candidate must have the ability to perform multiple tasks, adjust to changing assignments and maintain productivity, composure and a pleasant attitude under pressure.

Education and Experience

1. General electrical, plumbing, carpentry knowledge is necessary.
2. General mechanical knowledge required.
3. Food Service Equipment Repair experience is a plus.
4. Certification in HVAC repair is a plus.
5. High School Diploma or equivalent
6. Valid Driver's License required.
7. Independent Reliable Transportation required
8. Basic computer skills required.
