O'Donnell Roofing has an immediate opening for a Residential Service Tech to join our growing service team in the Philadelphia Main Line area. You will complete residential roof repairs and exterior service work from approved work orders, typically with a helper, and communicate with homeowners about the work being completed.

This role is ideal for someone with roofing, metalwork, or siding experience who is safety-minded, dependable, approachable, and eager to grow with the company.

Qualifications

• Two to three years of roofing or exterior construction experience.
• Experience with roofing repairs, asphalt shingles, siding, or exterior metalwork.
• Sheet metal or window-capping experience preferred.
• Knowledge of roofing safety, ladder use and job-site prep.
• Customer-service mindset and ability to communicate with homeowners.
• Own hand tools and willingness to learn CompanyCam.

Responsibilities

About the Role

The Residential Service Tech will complete residential roof repairs and exterior service work from approved work orders. You'll typically work with a helper, communicate with homeowners, and document completed work in CompanyCam.

What You'll Do

• Complete residential roofing repairs and exterior service work according to approved work orders.
• Perform asphalt shingle repairs, siding repairs, sheet metal work, window capping, and related exterior work.
• Work with a helper and collaborate with other technicians when additional support is needed.
• Communicate professionally with homeowners about the work being completed.
• Use CompanyCam to record job photos, notes, materials, and time.
• Review upcoming work orders and prepare materials for the next day.
• Follow O'Donnell Roofing's safety procedures, repair methods, and quality standards.

What You'll Bring

• At least two to three years of hands-on roofing or exterior construction experience; five or more years is preferred.
• Experience with roofing repairs, asphalt shingles, siding, or exterior metalwork.
• Sheet metal or window-capping experience is strongly preferred.
• Knowledge of roofing safety, ladder use, and job-site preparation.
• A customer-service mindset and the ability to communicate professionally with homeowners.
• A responsible, coachable attitude and willingness to learn O'Donnell Roofing's methods.
• Your own standard hand tools, including a tool belt, snips, and tape measures.
• Willingness to learn and use CompanyCam.

Schedule and Equipment

• A company truck is provided for work use and returned to the shop each evening.
• O'Donnell Roofing provides power tools and specialty equipment.
• After-hours and weekend on-call assignments are optional and include additional compensation.

Compensation

• $32-$38 per hour, depending on experience and skill level.
• Full-time position.
• Optional on-call assignments may provide additional earning opportunities.
