Job summary

Edward Jones is seeking a Service Team Leader in its Financial Planning & Core Wealth group to guide a team of service professionals supporting branches and clients. You will coach, develop, and lead associates, drive process improvements, and align initiatives with firm priorities to deliver exceptional service.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience required.
  • 3 years of leadership experience in financial services.

As a Service Team Leader within our Financial Planning & Core Wealth department, you'll play a critical role in leading a team of service professionals dedicated to supporting our branch offices and clients.

In this role, you'll blend people leadership, operational excellence, and strategic execution to ensure your team delivers exceptional service while contributing to key business objectives. You'll coach and develop associates, champion a positive and inclusive team culture, lead important departmental initiatives, and collaborate with partners across the firm to continuously improve processes and outcomes.

What You'll Do

Essential:
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience required

  • 3 years of leadership experience in financial services, or a combination of financial services and leadership experience.

  • Proven ability to lead, coach, and develop high-performing teams.

  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.

  • Ability to drive change, improve processes, and manage competing priorities.

  • Strong client service focus with the ability to build partnerships and influence outcomes across the organization.

Preferred
  • 5 years of relevant experience.

  • Broad knowledge of wealth management, financial planning, or service operations.

Candidates that live within a commutable distance from our Tempe, AZ and St. Louis, MO home office locations are expected to work in the office four days per week.
